Charity Bike n Blade 2006 - Day 1

As you may know, I went to Desaru (Malaysia) over the weekend to join a Charity event as a photografer. These photos are some of the photos that I took during the event.

* Infront of St.Andrews community hospital with all the bladers. This happen early in the morning, around 5am.

* Bryan n Richard! The champions! two of this guys were in the first row during the first 2 days.

* Looks young yah, yes she is, she is 9 years old and she is biking for at least 400KM. Confused? it's the truth!

Charity BnB 2006 - Photografer!

I just went back from Charity Bike n Blade 2006 @ Desaru. It was a 3 days journey, 450 Km, 70 Bikers, 30 Bladers and 20 Volounteers are fighting to raise $250,000 for a hospital in Singapore, St. Andrews hospital.

I was there as the photografer, this was my second trip.

Fruit for your health.

2 Days ago there is a news in Channel News Asia about health concern. Nowdays the goverment is trying to get Singaporean to eat more fruit to become more healthy, they think the the concern of eating fruit is not so high in Singapore.

So when you are eating, remember 4 Sehat 5 Sempurna (*Indonesian). It's mean always eat with Veggie, Meat, Fruit, and Rice :) + Milk.

When you are a baby you are crawling, when you are a boy you are running, when you are working most of the time ur sitting, when you are old, then you are standing with a stick on your hand. It's life!!!

The Truth!

This is a real picture taken from Indonesia. Is nothing about the truth yet, but his is one of my series that I want to start as well.

There is a Western Photografer (I think he is from National Geo or something), He went to Indonesia and took a beautiful pictures of poor Indonesian size (Why do I say poor? because, when you look at his picture, u will cry, how bad is Indonesia)

Most of the picture was taken near the railway station / the station it self, those picture was represent the most indonesian. They who can't buy car / motorcyle to work, will use train to work. It's a free ride because they have to run to get into the train and hijack the train and get into it (I wish I can try so I can get a better picture)

Not much from this series, it's just flowers. Took last minute shoot when I went to phuket. End result is the following series, not that great, but I almost late for my plane from Phuket :p

All the picture was taken in Malaysia. The transportation there is much better than Indonesia (Much, because they have a clean train and a proper train system :), but not any better than Singapore)
